INNER TUBE PROTECTION
The classic FLAP® rim tape must be positioned inside the spoke wheel rim channel and protects the inner tube from the spoke nipple heads. In the creation of the FLAP® it is fundamental to calculate perfectly the sizes and the choice of the material in order to avoid that during the use it comes out from the position.
FLAP RIM TAPE FOR TUBELESS CONVERSION
We have created and patented a new material for the production of FLAP® rim tape for tubeless conversion kit able to avoid any loss of air. The FLAP® tubeless is positioned inside the rim channel with a light layer of latex solution that further seals and waterproofs the micro-holes ensuring a total pressure seal.
The main advantages are the following:
- anti-puncture: this material prevents all risks, loss of time and costs related to mechanical damage caused by nipples, rim imperfections, metal burrs and external risks like nails or spines
- pressure: this material has obtained the best results in avoiding loss of pressure tests
- adherence: after being mounted, the tape adapts completely to the rim channel, it is like glued to the wheel
- Inner tube: the costs both in terms of time and money together with the risk of damaging the tube are absolutely unfavorable compared to the value of the new product
- increase in performance and sports competitions
ANTI-PUNCTURE BAND
The Anti-puncture Band is positioned between the inner tube and the tire and creates an extremely strong and resistant safety barrier. In the cycle sector, this product used also by various Italian sports associations for MOUNTAIN and ROAD bikes reported a reduction of more than 90% in puncture or damage of the tube. In the realization of the material, we have obviously considered the importance of elasticity and weight, in particular for the sport road cycles where the ultralight version exists. However, our products are available for all types of bicycles, mountain, trekking, road, sport, city, urban, fixed, e-bike and fat-bike.
